Times ºÚÁϳԹÏÍø is to hold its first awards ceremony celebrating the achievements of Asian universities.
The inaugural THE Awards Asia will build on the success of THE¡¯²õ long-running UK-focused awards ¨C dubbed the ¡°Oscars of higher education¡± ¨C and will be announced during next year¡¯²õ THE Asia Universities Summit.
The summit is being held at Khalifa University in the United Arab Emirates between 30 April and 2 May.
The awards are now open for entries in five categories: Leadership and Management Team of the Year; International Strategy of the Year; Teaching and Learning Strategy of the Year; Outstanding Support for Students; and Technological Innovation of the Year.

The Asia awards, Mr Baty said, would ¡°celebrate excellence in five key areas of university activity, offer a major international platform to recognise outstanding leadership and institutional performance, and celebrate excellence in all its diversity¡±.
