The Times ºÚÁϳԹÏÍø China Subject Ratings are the only performance tables that judge Chinese institutions against their global peers based on the Chinese Ministry of Education¡¯s classification of subjects.
The ratings for economics reveal performance in two subjects: applied economics and theoretical economics.
In total, 851 universities worldwide receive a rating for at least one subject in the economics pillar.
Overall, 121 universities achieve an A+ grade in at least one economics subject; among them are Fudan, Nanjing, Zhejiang and Tsinghua universities in mainland China. Six universities in mainland China receive an A+ for theoretical economics and six receive an A+ for applied economics.
